Coming up: Thursday 15th October: Open 12 - 7pm. Free BBQ at 1pm and Propellerheads Reason and Record workshop at 4pm.
Friday 16th October: Open 1 - 10pm. Art workshop at 2pm and free BBQ at 6pm. Live bands at the Youthie featuring 4 Degrees Hotter, Romero, Crouching 80’s and Red Letter Day. 6-10pm and the entry cost is $6.
Saturday 17th October: Open 12 - 9pm. Free BBQ at 1pm, Pool Competition 2pm, Table Tennis Competition 4pm and 3 on 3 twilight basketball competition at 7pm.
Friday 23rd October. Live bands at the Youthie featuring The Storm Picturesque, Deception Prevails, Your Name On A Toe Tag and The Spontaneous Kevin Costner. 6-10pm and the entry cost is $6.

Annual Donations Program: Tamworth Regional Council Annual Donations Program is NOW OPEN! The Donations Program provides an opportunity for Community Groups, Not for Profit organisations and Charities to apply for funding from Council, for projects that directly benefit the local community. NSW Youth Week Design Competition: NSW Youth Week is looking for aspiring young designers to help create the look for our website, posters and other promotional materials. Designs can be for a poster, or a website, or just some ideas thrown down on paper. Entries should be funky, creative, and help spread the word about Youth Week. The winner will receive a $1000 cash prize, and have their work promote Youth Week in NSW through its posters and website. Entry forms and more information, including terms and conditions of entry, can be found on the NSW Youth Week website, www.youthweek.nsw.gov.au. Entries close 5pm, Monday 16 November 2009. 2009-10 Youth Development and Support Program: The Australian Government’s Youth Development and Support Program funding round for 2009-10 is now open.  The Program will make funding available to eligible non-government, not-for-profit organisations to support the delivery of a range of small-scale projects that aim to inspire and encourage young people aged between 12 and 25 years, to engage with government and their community. The focus of the Program is to support events or activities that provide development opportunities that are meaningful and worthwhile; encourage engagement and participation in the wider community; and build on the skill capacity of young people. Reclaim the Night: The Tamworth Domestic Violence Committee invites you to participate in their annual march down Peel Street against domestic violence and sexual assault. If you would like to be a part, the group will be meeting at Viaduct Park in Peel Street opposite the BP Station on Friday 30th October 2009 at 5.15pm. Then stay around afterwards at ‘Jumbuck Cottage’ in Bicentennial Park for BBQ sausage sizzle and light refreshments.

What on Earth Does Tamworth Family Support Service Do? Come along and find out! Tamworth Family Support Service Inc is holding an information session to showcase our service and to answer questions such as what services are offered, who we offer services to, hHow to refer to Family Support programs, how to contribute to the decision making process, how is Family Support Service accountable, what programs does Family Support use and where do they come from, who works at Family Support and who manages Family Support?
