Highsnlows: www.highsnlows.com.au is a new campaign and website about cannabis and mental health. It is a collaboration between the Australian Drug Foundation (ADF, www.adf.org.au), Orygen Youth Health (www.oyh.org.au) and the Department of Human Services (DHS) Victoria (www.dhs.vic.gov.au). The campaign will roll out over the next five months and will feature a series of animated short films following four young people's experiences with cannabis. These films encourage the audience to think about how their mental health and wellbeing may be affected by cannabis use. The first of these animated short films can be found on the highsnlows website, along with other information for young people about how cannabis use can affect their mental health and where they can find help. The website includes an anonymous and professional Q&A service that provides clear, unbiased, non-judgmental answers to any questions they may have about cannabis and mental health, a safe space for visitors to share their stories and experiences, information about cannabis and mental health, and a searchable database of Australian youth-friendly health services and organisations.

Tamworth Community Drug Action Team (CDAT) Trivia Night: A trivia night was hosted by the Tamworth CDAT as part of the Soup Kitchen at the Coledale Community Centre on Tuesday 23rd June. A great night was had by all in attendance with heaps of prizes and free giveaways aimed at increasing the awareness of alcohol and drugs and associated problems in the community. The Gomeroi Dance Group filled the MC role and performed a number of traditional dances to finish off what was a fabulous night. The Tamworth CDAT would like to acknowledge the exceptional contribution made by Sussan Bissett and the Cornerstone Soup Kitchen Volunteers, and would also like to acknowledge the following organisations for supporting this worthwhile community event; The Cornerstone Church, Country Energy, Dominoes Pizza, Carlo's IGA, Civic Video (Bridge St), Robert Street Butchery, Johno's Takeaway, Farmer Bobs, Crust & Cream Bakery, McDonalds South. It was also great to see Tamworth Regional Council Councillor Warren Woodley helping out on the night.
